7-4-05: This would be yet another
picture of an
anenome, except it happened to be raining and a raindrop happened
to fall right as I was taking the picture. Cool, huh?
7-4-05: Another odd thing about Yellow Point was its collection of free range bunnies. They were not exactly tame, but far from exactly wild either. Here, Chris attempts to hypnotize one. It isn't so sure at first...
7-4-05: The inevitable slug photo. But this one's all black! And it's a great head-on shot of the slug in motion.
7-26-05: Near the end of the month Gaia Consort (Chris's band)
had a gig at Fairieworlds. Its a big festival of art and music
near Eugene, Oregon. Somehow, I was the only one who was with the
band who brought a camera. I warned Chris that he did not want
to appoint me as staff photographer
for the show –
that they'd only end up with pictures of slugs, bugs, flowers, and
mushrooms. No one wanted to use my camera, though, so I got this
great shot of an Oregon cicada.
7-26-05: I did manage to get a few pictures of humans (or at
least fairies) from around the festival, though. This is the mud
fairy
- the children were fascinated by this grown
up
playing in the mud.
7-26-05: I did even manage to get a few pictures of the band. Chris is tuning up his guitar before the show (with Moeller, the bassist, in the background). There was way too much dancing and dust in the air to get pictures when the band was actually playing.
7-26-05: And even a picture of one of the band's friends. This is Sooj, doing the solo guitarist thing.
