8-10-05: We finally got out to fish. The first thing we caught
was this dogfish. Our guide pronounced it inedible
and tossed it back, but I think I would have given it a try...
8-10-05: Something has the seagulls all excited. The larger dark bird just to the left of center may be a bald eagle rather than a seagull – there was one circling nearby at the time – but I can't tell for sure from the photo.
8-10-05: As the sun started to set, we could see the Lady Washington making the rounds in the distance. Again, I don't think the fuzziness does this photo a disservice.
8-10-05: ... and when it came time to clean the salmon, it was clear that he'd found what he was looking for.
8-28-05: When Steve came to visit, we had planned on going to a
music festival in northern Oregon. However, we got there to find
that the music festival had been canceled. We decided to make the
best of it, though. Steve wanted to stop by the Trojan nuclear
reactor – the only reactor ever to be built in Oregon, now
long since closed. Steve really wanted to get this Disneyland
shot of he and Eric in front of the reactor.
