I generally name my sheep. There's no real reason for it, other than I enjoy it, and it's much easier to remember which sheep is Rose than which one is old1986xApo93175-1-12-3, which is something of the naming system I use internally, to keep track of how a particular sheep was made.
Architecht's Snowflake
This is one of my favorites. It reminds me of a paper snowflake. Perhaps if an architect got bored and folded a snowflake out of that nice blue paper that they use, this is what he would imagine as he folded and scissored. sheep mpeg parameter .flame file edge file edge file edge file edge file
Bridge of Cats
This is a child of Cat's Cradle (see sheep2), and reminds me of some kind of precarious, spinning bridge leading to uncharted territory. If you have the opportunity to read the excellent Bridge of Birds, I highly recommend it. sheep mpeg parameter .flame file edge file edge file
St Brigid's Cross
Catholocism tended to pick up saints as it spread. Local gods and goddesses were quietly folded into the Catholic pantheon as saints, in order to make conversion of the local heathens less troublesome. Bridgid was among the most popular goddesses in Ireland, and persists in Catholicism today. Her symbol is a cross made of reeds, and is used as a totem to protect against fire. sheep mpeg parameter .flame file edge file edge file

Lichen
This fractal was easy to name. Originally it was an exploration of negative space in sheep - trying to make use of the black bars that crisscross it. Karale
Karale is the Karnataka name for Niger thistle seeds. Karnataka is a region in India, where the seeds are used as a spicing for bread and curries. This fractal seemed kind of thistle-y to me. sheep mpeg parameter .flame file edge file
