I generally name my sheep. There's no real reason for it, other than I enjoy it, and it's much easier to remember which sheep is Rose than which one is old1986xApo93175-1-12-3, which is something of the naming system I use internally, to keep track of how a particular sheep was made.

Catatumbo Lightning
In Venezuela there is a place at the mouth of the Catatumbo river, where the water slows into a bog, where lightning flashes for 10 hours per day for 140 to 160 nights per year. Methane rising from the bog, combined with high winds coming down from the Andes, are thought to be the cause of the nearly-perpetual storm. The last two edges connect with lamb 6713, the child of Alhazen.

Claude Debussy
The Art of Noise released a reunion album entitled The Seduction of Claude Debussy. He was an impressionist musician who lived in the late 19th century. Wikipedia notes, Debussy's music virtually defines the transition from late-Romantic music to twentieth century modernist music. If there is any justice in the world, the Art of Noise will go down in history as being equally important.
